Survivor Series is now less than three weeks away and whilst every champion from both Raw and SmackDown will be going head to head with bragging rights on the line, it seems that there will be one championship defended at the event.
It was announced last night on 205 Live that Enzo Amore will be defending his Cruiserweight Championship against Kalisto on November 19th.
This will be the fourth championship match between these two stars, as part of a rivalry that has been at the forefront of the Cruiserweight Division ever since Kalisto joined the brand at the beginning of October.
Kalisto won the title from Amore a week later on Monday Night Raw, before The Certified G was able to reclaim his championship at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs just two weeks later.
Kalisto invoked his rematch clause on 205 Live a few days later, but their match ended in controversy when Enzo attacked the referee and was able to retain his title as a result of a disqualification.
It seems that Kalisto will be given one more chance to try to recapture the championship since his contractual rematch ended in shocking circumstances.
There is a lot of talent on the 205 Live roster and many of the WWE Universe will be disappointed with the news that Kalisto will be fighting for the championship once again, but this could well be The Luchador’s final shot at the championship before Amore moves on to another challenger.
