Rumors about Chael Sonnen working with WWE go around every couple of months. Usually they’re started by Chael himself but this one has hit the Internet courtesy of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Chael Sonnen who is currently working as an announcer for Global Force Wrestling will reportedly be meeting with Michael Cole at the August 11th SmackDown tapings in Portland, Oregon. The meeting was said to have been set up by Gerald Brisco WWE’s Senior Director of Talent Development Canyon Ceman.
Sonnen has been expressing his interest to work with WWE for quite some time and has claimed on many instances that WWE has made him offers in the past.
