Cesaro is currently one half of the Raw Tag Team Champions, and The Bar have been dominating the tag team division on Raw for quite some time now. Even though there are many fans out there who would love to see Cesaro work as a singles star, he’s found a lot of success in the tag team division working with wrestlers such as Jack Swagger, Tyson Kidd and of course Sheamus.
The Swiss Cyborg has many impressive moves in his arsenal, and he’s been known to bust of the Sharpshooter from time to time. During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated he talked about why he uses the move, and he noted that it’s a tribute to Tyson Kidd.
“My sharpshooter, that’s a Tyson Kidd shout-out and tribute. I started doing the move after he got hurt. You may notice that I do the move, like Tyson did and like Owen Hart did, with the right leg, while Bret Hart and Nattie do it with the left.”
Tyson Kidd is unfortunately no longer an active wrestler following a career ending injury he suffered during a dark match back in 2015, but he is currently working backstage as a producer for WWE.
Cesaro was also asked to name his top 3 WWE Superstars from the current roster, and he had some interesting picks.
“Sheamus, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns. That is not including myself or Dean Ambrose, who is hurt right now.”
