Carmella Responds To Article Calling Her Unattractive

Women’s wrestling has come a long way over the last few years. During The Attitude Era female wrestlers were portrayed mostly as eye candy and they competed in bikini contests and bra and panties matches. Nowadays things are very different as female wrestlers in WWE and beyond have worked hard to bring women’s wrestling to a whole new level.

Back in the day WWE placed heavy emphasis on looks when it came to women’s wrestling, but now it’s all about in-ring skills and charisma. But that’s not to say that there aren’t many beautiful women in the world of professional wrestling, because there are. However, one writer seems to think that there are women who have been involved in the business who wouldn’t be perceived as attractive without their fame.

A fan recently brought an article titled “15 Female Wrestlers Who Wouldn’t Be Considered Attractive If They Were Never Famous” to Carmella’s attention because the first ever Miss Money in the Bank was ranked at number 11 on the list.

A quote from the article reads as follows: “Carmella definitely has improved in leaps and bounds since her rookie NXT days, and her character work is outstanding. However, what she can definitely never improve is her looks. She looks ordinary despite her slim body and outstanding physique.”

Obviously Carmella didn’t take too kindly to this and she fired back with the following response:
