Carmella is the current SmackDown Women’s Champion, and she’s been bragging about her title reign for weeks now ever since she cashed in Money in the Bank on Charlotte Flair.
The Princess of Staten Island is currently the top heel in the women’s division on the blue brand, and she recently told Telegram.com that she loves the character she plays on TV.
“It’s so much more fun. I love it. I love to be talky and tell everyone how good I am. I can kind of relate to that just a little bit. In everyday life it’s not something I would normally do, but there’s a little bit of the real Carmella inside of Carmella.”
Last year former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger confirmed that he signed a deal with Bellator, and he originally noted that he hoped to fight at least twice in 2018.
However, Swagger has yet to make his debut, and it looks like he won’t be doing so until later this year.
Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com recently shared an update on Swagger’s progress saying that his Bellator debut will likely happen in the 4th quarter of 2018.
