Tuesday night Billie Kay and Peyton Royce joined the WWE main roster, and they made a big entrance when they confronted SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and then beat her down.
Kay and Royce left Charlotte ripe for the picking, and that’s when Carmella decided to take advantage of the situation.
The Princess of Staten Island made her way down to the ring, cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase and defeated Charlotte Flair with just one kick to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship for the first time in her career.
Shortly after winning the belt, Carmella had her new custom title plates installed, and you can see how it all went down in the video below.
Speaking of Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, they talked about their big debut backstage, and they said that it was a big moment that they wanted to experience together.
When asked what the women’s division can expect from The Iconic Duo, they said that they work as a team and always will.
