“I am proud of my father,” Carlito said. “He deserved it years ago for our family we are very proud and it’s a great honor.

“Puerto Rico is talking about it. They are proud of him. It’s good to see him getting recognized.”

Carlito noted that he would be at the ceremony and “wouldn’t miss it for the world.”

As for what he’s doing now, he said, “I have been focusing on my NBA 2K. I am chilling and enjoying life. I am living the life as they say.”

He also did not rule out a possible return to the WWE or another promotion.

“I am just chilling,” he said. “I don’t know what the future holds. Never say never, but as of now I am focused on NBA 2K.”
