Say Goodbye To Damien Sandow, Because WWE Has Released Him Too

WWE has released several Superstars today and they’ve recently added Damien Sandow’s name to the list bringing the total to 8. WWE posted the following announcement on their website:

“WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstars Damien Sandow, King Barrett, Santino Marella, Cameron, Hornswoggle, Alex Riley, El Torito and Zeb Colter as of today, Friday, May 6, 2016. WWE wishes them the best in all of their future endeavors.”

Damien Sandow is a former Money in the Bank winner but unfortunately for him the briefcase didn’t help him become World Champion. After losing his World Championship match against John Cena, Sandow started portraying different characters on TV such as Mr. McMahondow and Magneto.

Eventually he ended up becoming a stunt double for The Miz called Damien Mizdow and the two won the WWE Tag Team Titles. Mizdow became one of the most popular stars on the roster but Damien hasn’t been used much since the team broke up.
