Cain Velasquez recently made his debut on the 20th anniversary episode of SmackDown, and Velasquez is wasting no time going after the top prize, as he’s set to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, October 31.
Velasquez’s second WWE match has been confirmed, as WWE announced today that he will be teaming up with Rey Mysterio for a tag team match in Mexico City, Mexico on Saturday, November 30.
As of this writing Cain Velasquez and Rey Mysterio’s opponents have not been named.
The event is set to take place from Arena Ciudad de Mexico, and will feature wrestlers from both Raw and SmackDown.
Velasquez made his debut with AAA at Arena Ciudad de Mexico back in August, and he wrestled his second mach a AAA’s Invading NYC event back in September.
The former UFC Champion has signed a multi-year deal with WWE.
