Bully Ray has given his blood, sweat, and tears to the pro wrestling business for over a quarter of a century at this point. 26 years is a long time to be doing anything but if you ask Bully Ray, everything he encountered along the way was well worth it.
Now it looks like Bully Ray might be saying goodbye to in-ring competition when he posted a picture of himself from ROH Final Battle enjoying a well-deserved beer. His match with Tommy Dreamer against The Briscoes was indeed a New York Streetfight worth remembering.
The encounter left Bully Ray bloody and beaten and now it appears he is taking his final bow. In a simple social media post, he thanked ROH and the fans for making his final battle a great one.
This verbiage of “final battle” in this context could be read as a retirement announcement although many thought he was stepping away from the ring after he possibly suffered a concussion or worse after ROH Death Before Dishonor when he took a table to the head thanks to The Briscoes.
Regardless, thank you, Bully Ray, for everything you’ve done to make so many things that much more enjoyable just by being a part of it.
Sometimes it can be a dangerous combination to love pranks and pro wrestling at the same time. If you don’t believe me, then just ask this superfan who recently decided it was a good idea to replace all of his wedding pictures with photos of Jinder Mahal.
We’re not saying you should never put up a picture of The Modern Day Maharaja, but when you’re putting him in place of pictures of you and your spouse on the happiest day of your life then you’re certainly taking a huge gamble.
Jinder Mahal tweeted back at this brave soul by saying “maybe she’s not the one” if his wife can’t take the joke. It looks like his wife is okay with it, or she’s just incredibly understanding and sees this as another thing she has to deal with because these pranks don’t sound like anything new.
I’m just assuming he was able to keep his actual wedding photos in good condition during this prank of his wife might not have tweeted back in such an annoyed, yet understanding nature.
