WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray found a lot of success as one half of legendary tag team The Dudley Boyz, but he also managed to claim the top spot in Impact Wrestling while working as a singles competitor.
On the night that Bully Ray defeated Jeff Hardy to win the Impact World Championship for the first time, he was revealed to be the leader of the Aces & Eights, and the group terrorized Impact with Bully at the forefront.
The Aces & Eights dominated Impact and hogged the spotlight for about a year and half, and now Bully is making a bold claim about the group.
He recently took to Twitter and posted a picture from his Aces & Eights run with the caption, “Fun fact… If it weren’t for the Aces-n-Eights … there would be no Bullet Club.”
Aces & Eights former in June of 2012, whereas The Bullet Club formed in May of 2013.
Even though Aces & Eights formed first, this is still a bold claim nonetheless, and as some of the fans suggested in response to Bully’s post it could be argued that neither group would exist at all if not for the nWo.
