When Big Cass and Enzo pulled out a victory over Cesaro and Sheamus to become the new number 1 contenders for the Raw Tag Team Titles, there were fans all over who were extremely happy that their favorite team was finally able to earn a shot at the top prize in the tag division. However, there were some people who didn’t share their enthusiasm.
This rang more than true when Sheamus kicked Enzo in the head after the match and the LA crowd rang out in chants of “Thank you Sheamus.”
Bubba Ray Dudley had a rather interesting tweet around that same time Enzo and Cass won their match. Bubba is a bonafide tag-team legend, takes the art very seriously, and has never been one to hide his opinion.
Although he didn’t explicitly name the Realest Guys In The Room, people seemed to get the gist of what he was implying. We’re not going to say Bubba is “SAWFT” but he might very well be a hater.
Bubba Ray continued to reference the tag team division throughout the night and many fans seem to assume that he was talking specifically about The Club’s match with Roman Reigns after reading the tweet below.
A fan commented back to him stating that the tag divisions on both brands are horrendous and Bubba stuck up for them, in a way. Instead of putting any specific team over for being good, he merely acknowledged that they work very hard. That’s the verbal equivalent of winning a participation trophy if we’ve ever heard one.
Bubba also took it a step further as he put over one tag division, it just wasn’t one that belonged to World Wrestling Entertainment.
