Bryan Danielson has been part of the AEW roster since 2021, but The American Dragon spent a number of years wrestling in WWE. Throughout his WWE run he was involved in many heated feuds with Randy Orton becoming one of his greatest rivals.
The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently spoke to The Ringer about his rivalry with Randy Orton and he explained why The Viper was one of his favorite people to wrestle.
“I would get to wrestle Randy Orton, who might be one of my favorite people to ever wrestle, in the sense of he and I just clicked, and Randy Orton is so good. You’re wrestling all these untelevised matches right in front of live events and … if you’re somebody who tries to continually get better, it’s a great place to hone the details … your explosiveness, of all the different things that you do.
“When I wrestle Randy, and when I watch Randy, and especially like, Randy at his best, I think, ‘Man, this guy is untouchable. Everything he does is perfect.’”
Randy Orton last competed on an episode of Friday Night SmackDown in May of 2022 when RK-Bro dropped the Raw Tag Team Titles to The Usos. He’s been out of action ever since due to injury and there’s currently no word on when he could return to the ring. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available
