Bruce Prichard has become a podcast legend in the few short months since his “Something To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard” podcast debuted on the MLW Radio Network. He’s been in the territories, WWE, TNA, and nothing is off the table in regards to what he’s willing to talk about. He gives fans a whole new reason to re-watch some of their favorite moments in wrestling history with new perspective after every episode of his amazing podcast.
Prichard even uploaded a podcast today which told the true story about why he left WWE in 2008.
He’s not a fan of TNA or its former management and he’s made no secret of this fact in the two separate episodes he did on the subject which totals close to six hours of Dixie Carter bashing glory. Now Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting Prichard has been brought back into the TNA picture as Impact Wrestling has apparently signed Bruce for a backstage and on-air role with the Anthem Sports property.
According to the report Prichard will be flying into Orlando for the upcoming television tapings at the Impact Zone to debut in an on-screen role. This is not a rib, Prichard used to be over and apparently he still is in a big way.
It isn’t clear what kind of role he will have with Impact or if his MLW Radio Network podcast will be affected by this new gig. Word coming out is saying one of the primary reasons Impact officials wanted Bruce Prichard back in Impact Wrestling was due to the huge numbers and influence his podcast has received.
So, if you’re doing the math in the last week Impact lost the Hardys, Drew Galloway, Jade, Mike Bennett, and Maria Kanellis. That’s a pretty good trade, you know?
As for whether or not the signing will have an impact on Bruce’s podcast, Conrad told this writer it was all rumor and innuendo.
