Monday Night Raw rolled into Atlanta, GA this week and the show continued to build up the Elimination Chamber premium live event. Bronson Reed, Jey Uso and Original El Grande Americano faced off in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match, but Reed was removed from the match after he suffered an injury.
PWInsider is reporting that Bronson Reed was sent right to Birmingham, Alabama after Raw. Reed is expected to undergo surgery shortly for a torn biceps, if the surgery hasn’t happened already.
It was noted that Monday Night Raw being in Atlanta, Georgia actually worked in Bronson Reed’s favor as Birmingham was just a short drive away. At this point in time there’s no word on how long Bronson Reed will be out of action, but WWE will have to make changes to creative plans as Reed was originally scheduled for the Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 42.
Following his match on Raw it was reported that Bronson Reed was originally supposed to win the triple threat to advance to the Elimination Chamber. Due to the injury an audible was called and Jey Uso ended up pinning Original El Grande Americano to secure the victory.
Stay tuned for more updates on Bronson Reed’s status as they become available.
