Over the last few years there have been a number of breakout stars on the WWE roster and Bron Breakker has been one of the names to watch ever since he signed with the company. Breakker has been working his way up the card, but it appears that the former WWE Intercontinental Champion has been sidelined for now.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Bron Breakker is out of action as he recently underwent surgery for a serious hernia. At this point in time there’s currently no word on how long he will be out of the ring.
Bron Breakker last stepped into the ring at the Royal Rumble premium live event last month when he entered the men’s Royal Rumble. Breakker attempted to enter at number 2, but he was attacked by a mystery man before he officially entered the match. The mystery man hit Breakker with a superkick and a Curb Stomp and he was immediately eliminated by Oba Femi after the mystery man threw him into the ring.
Recently it was reported that there were originally plans for Bron Breakker to win the men’s Royal Rumble match, but plans for WrestleMania were changed and WWE ultimately went with CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns for the Show of Shows.
Bron Breakker kicked off Monday Night Raw last week when he flipped over the announce table and destroyed the ringside area. Raw General Manager later kicked Breakker out of the arena.
Stay tuned for more updates on Bron Breakker’s status as they become available.
