Say what you want about Broken Matt Hardy, but he certainly knows how to get people talking. Last week Matt Hardy announced to the world that the greatest team in all of space and time had parted ways with Impact Wrestling and then they shocked the fans when they won the ROH World Tag Team Titles on Saturday night.
It was recently reported that the brothers were talking with WWE, which is why fans were surprised when Matt Hardy announced that they had signed a deal with ROH. At this point in time the exact length of their deal is unknown, but the brothers have confirmed that they will be working with ROH through Supercard of Honor XI in April. They’ve also reportedly told promoters that they are once again open for independent bookings in May.
The moves that they’ve been making over the past few days seem to indicate that a WWE return is off the table right now, but Broken Matt Hardy is doing his best to convince fans otherwise.
The Broken Hardys are a unique team and they currently hold gold in several promotions. Matt Hardy took to Twitter to remind the fans that not only are they magic, they are more. He also added that they can not be contained by any one promotion.
At Manhattan Mayhem, The Broken Hardys defeated The Young Bucks to win the ROH Tag Team Titles and according to Matt Hardy, the Bucks have been deleted.
Now that The Young Bucks have been deleted, Matt Hardy has his eyes on the Raw Tag Team Titles and he let Gallows and Anderson know that The Hardys are watching.
It’s definitely an interesting time to be a fan of Matt and Jeff Hardy. They’ve created quite the buzz since leaving Impact Wrestling last week and although Matt has never been shy about calling out WWE stars on Twitter, it’s interesting to note that last week a WWE star acknowledged him.
Nobody knew that The Hardys were signing with ROH before it happened, and although it’s believed at this point in time that the team will be working with the promotion for the foreseeable future, no one seems to be able to confirm the exact length of the deal.
There’s a lot of hype and mystery surrounding The Hardys right now and they have one thing in common with Sting, and that is that the one thing that’s for sure about The Broken Hardys, is that nothing is for sure about The Broken Hardys.
