It has certainly been a brilliant and broken trip for the Hardys in the past few months and they have landed in Ring of Honor to carry on their Expedition of Gold. Nobody expected to see them pop up at Manhattan Mayhem after the Young Bucks‘ successfull title defense and take their gold, but it sure happened.
Now Ring of Honor has announced Matt and Jeff Hardy will defend the ROH Tag Team Titles on Friday at Ring Of Honor’s 15th Anniversary PPV in Las Vegas against The Young Bucks and Roppongi Vice in a match where anything is possible: a Las Vegas Street Fight.
Roppongi Vice (Trent Berreta and Rocky Romero) and the Broken Hardys have something in common, they have both recently taken tag team gold off The Young Bucks. Roppongi Vice defeated Nick and Matt Jackson at Wrestle Kingdom 11 for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Titles in a fantastic match. They recently lost those same titles to Suzuki-gun at the New Japan’s 45th Anniversary show and are looking to get more gold to replace those titles.
The ROH 15th Anniversary show is already a stacked card with Christopher Daniels facing Adam Cole for his ROH World Championship as well as Bubba Ray Dudley’s first ROH match since his surprise debut with the company at Manhattan Mayhem. Dudley will tag with War Machine to take on The Briscoes and Davey Boy Smith Jr.
This is an absolutely stacked card too as Bobby Fish is set to take on Jay Lethal to determine the #1 contender for the ROH World Title.
The event will be available on through the Fite App which you can investigate here.
