Brock Lesnar’s Opponent Announced For WWE Live Event In Mexico, Paul Heyman Update

Brock Lesnar’s next high profile match will be against Goldberg at Survivor Series on November 20. The two stars will be facing off for the first time in 12 years, and hype is at an all time high for the match.

Following Survivor Series, Brock Lesnar will be competing at the WWE live event in Mexico City on Saturday, December 3, and WWE has announced that his opponent will be Rusev. WWE posted the following:

Mexico City becomes Suplex City this December! WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar will step into the ring in Mexico City, Saturday, Dec. 3, for a thrilling WWE Live Event at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico. The show starts at 8 p.m. local time. Joined by his advocate, the always-outspoken Paul Heyman, this Live Event marks The Beast Incarnate’s first in Mexico with WWE. And it won’t be an easy night for Lesnar, since his opponent that evening will be none other than The Bulgarian Brute, Rusev.

Monday night on Raw Goldberg kicked off the show, but he was interrupted by Paul Heyman.

Goldberg got in Heyman’s face, and then Rusev came out to make the safe. Rusev was met with a Jackhammer for his efforts, and then Goldberg delivered a spear to Paul Heyman.

WWE has posted an update on Heyman’s condition, and according to the update, Heyman was released from Hartford Hospital on Monday night, and he has bruised ribs.
