Brock Lesnar is without a doubt one of the most recognizable stars in all of professional wrestling, and he has a look that strikes fear into the hearts of his opponents. When Lesnar first joined WWE it was clear that he impressed Vince McMahon as he was quickly pushed to the top of the card.
WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco recently discussed Vince McMahon’s first meeting with Brock Lesnar during an interview with Sportskeeda, and he indicated that Brock showed a lot of confidence when they came face to face.
“All of a sudden, he just dead stopped in his tracks, turns, walks over, grabs Brock’s hand, shakes his hand and says, ‘I’m Vince McMahon.’ He turns to Brock. And Brock has once of the greatest answers I’ve heard one of these kids say that’s just coming out of college.”
“Vince said, ‘Young man, congratulations on winning your National Championship. Are you ready for showbiz?’ And Brock Lesnar looks him right in the eye and says, ‘I’ve been ready all my life for showbiz.’ Boom. What an answer to give the boss.”
Brock Lesnar will return to the ring later this month when he challenges Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
