On Saturday the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view aired live from Saudi Arabia, and Bobby Lashley defended his WWE Championship against Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles, Riddle, Austin Theory and Seth “Freakin” Rollins inside the Elimination Chamber.
Seth Rollins and Austin Theory kiccked the match off while the other competitors waited to enter. Earlier on in the match Seth Rollins powerbombed Austin Theory into Bobby Lashley’s pod, and Theory’s body knocked Lashley down as he broke through the glass. WWE officials then checked on Bobby Lashley and he was pulled from the match.
When the time came for Bobby Lashley’s pod to open he wasn’t in it, so Brock Lesnar kicked through his pod and entered the match. He immediately eliminated Seth Rollins and Riddle with the F5 as the commentators noted that Bobby Lashley has been put into concussion protocol and would not be returning.
Lesnar eliminated Styles a few minutes later with the F5 and it came down to Brock and Austin Theory. Brock started stalking Austin Theory as Theory ran for his life. He tried to hide in a pod, but Lesnar kicked through the pod. Brock picked Theory up, and Theory hit him with a low blow out of desperation then dropkicked him in the face.
The low blow infuriated Brock Lesnar and Theory tried to climb out of the chamber by squeezing through the chains. Brock followed him up the side then they brawled on top of a pod as Lesnar smashed Theory’s face into the Elimination Chamber repeatedly.
Brock then hit Austin Theory with the F5 off the top of the Elimination Chamber pod. He followed up by pinning Theory to become the new WWE Champion. After the match it was announced that Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar will be a champion vs. champion match at WrestleMania. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.`
