Every wrestler knows that a victory at the Royal Rumble match can change the course of a wrestler’s career, and on Saturday night the stars of WWE put it all on the line for a shot a greatness.
Earlier in the night Roman Reigns defended the Universal Title against Seth Rollins, and when it was all said and done Roman walked out with the belt.
The Beast later defended the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley, and Lesnar lost the match after Paul Heyman handed the title belt to Roman Reigns and Reigns hit Brock Lesnar with it. Lashley then pinned Lesnar to defeat him and win the WWE Championship.
Brock Lesnar ended up entering the men’s Royal Rumble match at number 30 later in the night and The Beast went on to win it all. Brock cleared house shortly after he entered the ring and it came down to him and Drew McIntyre. Lesnar and McIntyre stood face to face, and they went back and forth for a minute, but Brock put Drew on his shoulders then threw him over the top to win the match.
