Brock Lesnar dropped the Universal Championship to Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 35, and fans haven’t seen The Beast since.
The Men’s Money In The Bank ladder match was the main event of the annual Money In The Bank pay-per-view on Sunday, and Brock Lesnar ended up winning the briefcase even though he wasn’t previously announced for the match.
Earlier in the night Braun Strowman was looking for Sami Zayn, and the cameras later cut to Zayn hanging upside down backstage and Michael Cole announced that Sami Zayn had been taken to a local medical facility. So, he never made it to the match.
Ali, Andrade, Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre, Finn Bálor, Randy Orton, and Ricochet all battled for the briefcase, but near the end of the match Brock Lesnar’s music hit and he made his way down to the ring with Paul Heyman.
Lesnar then climbed a ladder and grabbed the briefcase to win the match.
