Local ads in the Houston area that were running during Raw revealed that Brock Lesnar will be facing Sheamus at the January 8th WWE live event from the Toyota Center. Other matches being advertised for the show include John Cena vs the United States Champion, Alberto Del Rio.
Sheamus has said several times in interviews that Brock Lesnar is someone he wants to face. He told Delaware Online the following in May:
“I’ve been saying for a long time that I want a crack at Brock Lesnar. I wanted a crack at Undertaker before, but that streak is gone now and the opportunity is gone. I’m looking at today’s toughest streak. I want Brock Lesnar. And I want him at Wrestlemania.”
