Brock Lesnar has had several stints with WWE throughout his career and there’s no denying that The Beast Incarnate has had a major impact on the business. Last year Lesnar shocked the world when he returned to WWE and attacked John Cena after the SummerSlam night two main event, and he’s currently being featured on TV on the road to WrestleMania. However, it sounds like Brock’s latest run could be coming to an end sooner than later.

While talking about his current status with WWE on Spittin’ Chiclets, Brock Lesnar said that he’s grateful to be back with the company, but indicated that he’s only back for a short time.

“S***, I went back to work so I could feed my kids. You guys should see my grocery bill. I had left the company years ago, and I’m grateful that I’m back for a short time here. I’m really grateful for all the opportunities that I’ve had in my life.”

Brock Lesnar’s retirement has been rumored for some time now. John Cena indicated during an interview last year that Brock could be wrapping up his career when he said, “This attraction where we are going to build until he goes into the sunset, which is, I think, in Minnesota? Creatively, it’s very soon.”

It’s worth SummerSlam is set to emanate from Brock’s home state when the show airs live from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, 2026. As of right now nothing has been confirmed regarding Lesnar’s potential retirement, so it will be interesting to see how things play our for the former WWE Champion as we get closer to SummerSlam.
