Brock Lesnar Returning To Raw Next Week, Cruiserweight Title Match Announced

Brock Lesnar hasn’t been seen since the Raw after WrestleMania 33, but he’ll be making his return to WWE programming next Monday night when Raw takes place from the Cajundome in New Orleans, LA.

Sunday night at Extreme Rules, Samoa Joe won a fatal 5-way match and he earned the right to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. Joe and Lesnar are now set to collide at Great Balls of Fire in July, and this week on Raw, Joe made his way down to the ring to hype up the match.

The former NXT Champion said that he wants everything Brock Lesnar has, including Paul Heyman. Brock Lesnar’s advocate then got in the ring and he cut a promo that made Joe look like a credible threat to Brock.

Heyman then peacefully tried to leave the ring, but Joe applied the Coquina Clutch to Heyman in order to send a message to Brock Lesnar.

Later in the show, Paul Heyman received a phone call from Brock Lesnar, and Brock asked him what he should do. Heyman told him he needs to show up on Raw next week and make Samoa Joe fear him.

Sunday night at Extreme Rules, Neville successfully defended the Cruiserweight Championship against Austin Aries, and now TJP is in line for a title shot.

It was announced this week on Raw that Neville will defend the title against TJP on 205 Live Tuesday night.
