This week on Friday Night SmackDown, Roman Reigns put the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the line for the first time since he defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38.
The Tribal Chief defended his title against Riddle, and although Riddle put up a good fight it wasn’t enough to defeat Roman Reigns. The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion was able to successfully defend his title after putting Riddle away with a spear.
When the match was finished Roman Reigns grabbed the mic and bragged about how there’s no one left while Riddle looked on disappointed from the outside. Roman told the crown to acknowledge him and his music hit, but the mood changed quickly when Brock Lesnar returned.
Brock made his way down to the ring and he tried to shake Roman’s hand. Roman reached out to shake Brock’s hand, but The Beast Incarnate hit The Tribal Chief with the F5. The Usos then rushed the ring and Brock hit each of them with the F5 as the commentary team teased that he wants his title back.
