WWE is constantly signing new talent and last year it was confirmed that Jacob Henry signed a deal with the company. Jacob Henry is the son of former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry, and it seems that people in the industry have high hopes when it comes to his future in the wrestling business.
Cody Rhodes recently commented on Jacob Henry’s status during an appearance on the 2 Bears, 1 Cave podcast and he predicted that Henry will “Brock Lesnar” the roster when he arrives.
“I love Mark Henry. He’s still part of this radio show called Busted Open. His son Jacob, who is going to come up and… probably “Brock Lesnar” us all when he arrives. We’re all looking forward to it.”
One way or another it seems that Jacob Henry has big goals for his wrestling career as Mark Henry told TMZ last year that his son wants to main event WrestleMania someday.
“His true passion is pro wrestling. He’s not trying to be an Olympic champion in wrestling. He said, ‘I don’t want to go to the Pro Bowl or win a Super Bowl. I want to main event WrestleMania and go to Japan and be a champion.’ I’m like, ‘Bro, those are hefty goals.’ But I tell you what, if your goals don’t scare you, then you’re playing it safe. You’re not going to make it unless you have high, high dreams.”
