Brock Lesnar and Goldberg have an interesting history. They faced off against one another at WrestleMania XX and then they both left WWE.
Lesnar has since returned, but Goldberg has not. However, both men will be a part of WWE 2K17.
Goldberg will be a playable character and he was announced a few months ago as a special pre-order bonus for WWE 2K17. Brock Lesnar will also be a playable character and he is featured on the cover of the game.
WWE has released a new promo video for the game where Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar directly address Goldberg.
Heyman says Goldberg is a “supporting player” in WWE 2K17 which is a game that “stars” Brock Lesnar. You can check out the video below.
UPDATE: WWE has pulled the video from their Facebook page and it is now longer available for the public to see. No word on why they pulled the video.
It was recently reported that Goldberg will be in New York City during SummerSlam weekend to promote WWE 2K17. However, it’s not known if WWE has any plans for Goldberg to make a cameo appearance at SummerSlam.
