Seth Rollins won the men’s Royal Rumble on Sunday night, and he kicked off Raw this week. Rollins said he has a decision to make in regards to who he’s going to face at WrestleMania. He could jump to SmackDown and face Daniel Bryan, or he could go to Suplex City.
Seth said he was going to need some time to make his decision, and that’s when Triple H interrupted.
Triple H told him that Becky Lynch is going to pick her WrestleMania opponent on SmackDown Live tomorrow, and that both Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar were going to be at Raw, so Rollins had to pick his opponent before the end of the night.
The fans chanted “Slay The Beast” as Rollins looked on and said it’s going to be one of the hardest decisions he’s ever made. Dean Ambrose then interrupted.
Ambrose took a shot at Triple H, and said he didn’t believe in Seth back in the NXT days. Triple H took a shot at Ambrose for turning on Rollins.
Dean told Seth that it doesn’t matter who he faces at WrestleMania, because Seth can’t beat him without help. He taunted Triple H and told him to make a match. Triple H tried to leave, Ambrose stopped him and asked if he needed permission from his father in law. The fans chanted “yes he does” then Triple H ordered a referee to come down to the ring.
Rollins went on to defeat Dean Ambrose.
At the end of the night, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar made their way to the ring, and Paul Heyman was cutting a promo when Seth Rollins interrupted him and got in Brock Lesnar’s face.
Rollins wasted no time and he threw a punch at Brock then tried to take him out, but Brock countered with the F5.
Brock then hit Rollins with another F5, and then another, followed by another.
Lesnar placed the Universal Title on the mat, then dropped Rollins with another F5 and Rollins landed on the title.
Rollins sat up and asked Lesnar, “is that all you got?”
Lesnar hit Rollins with another F5 as the show went off the air.
WWE later confirmed Rollins vs. Lesnar will take place at WrestleMania.
