WrestleMania season is here and it was recently announced that Brock Lesnar will be facing off against Omos at WrestleMania 39 next month. The Beast has been involved in some huge matches at WrestleMania and at WrestleMania 35 he opened up the show when he defended the Universal Championship against Seth Rollins.
Ultimately Seth Rollins ended up defeating Brock Lesnar to win the Universal Championship. Former WWE writer Dave Schilling recently revealed on Twitter that Lesnar vs. Rollins was supposed to semi-main event, but Brock changed the plans so he could go home early.
“Brock and Seth was supposed to semi-main and last minute Brock changed it to the opener so he could go home early. That pushed Lashley and Finn to a spot when the crowd was flatter than a plate full of piss.”
Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins will both be in action at WrestleMania 39 as Seth is set to face Logan Paul at the event. WrestleMania 39 will air live from SoFi Stadium on April 1 and April 2. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
