Brock Lesnar surprised a lot of people when he was able to topple Roman Reigns during the last match of WrestleMania 34. Now that Brock Lesnar is still the Universal Champion it looks like his days with WWE aren’t over even though the UFC seems to be a very attractive place for him right now as well.
But after his successful title defense where it took six F5s to take Roman Reigns out for the count Lesnar went backstage and was still full of energy because apparently, he started a confrontation with Vince McMahon.
It was said that nothing got physical but there were words exchanged between the two. Others stepped in to make sure it didn’t escalate further than it could have but apparently it’s still a pretty serious situation.
This is not a good position for Vince McMahon to be in as well because Brock Lesnar is still the top guy on Monday Night Raw as Universal Champion.
Wrestle Votes first broke the story this morning and provided some basic info on the matter but Pro Wrestling Sheet gave a little bit more of a picture of what happened.
It was said that Brock Lesnar was “livid” when he returned to the gorilla position after his match against Roman Reigns. Although details aren’t quite clear yet it was enough to spark a confrontation.
Sources say that there was a brief and intense moment backstage which ended in Lesnar throwing the Universal Title at either Vince McMahon, or the wall because both stories have been relayed.
There could be a belief Lesnar went off script during the Universal Title match at WrestleMania near the finish although they were unable to totally confirm if that was true at this time.
Either way, it certainly sounds like there’s something going on with Brock Lesnar and he’s not too happy about some things which could result in even more questions concerning the future of the Universal Title.
