Brock Lesnar Advertised For SmackDown Event, Details On The Return Of Total Divas

Madison Square Garden in New York City is almost a holy place in the annals of professional wrestling history. The famous New York City landmark has been known to receive special treatment from WWE. The significant structure saw the first ever Elimination Chamber match, the Kliq’s “curtain call,” and even a special one-off Royal Rumble during a house show in 1994 which Owen Hart won.

The house show scheduled for March 12th at Madison Square is shaping up to be another big event for WWE. Although the show is slated to be a SmackDown event, one notable exception pops out on the list of scheduled appearances that isn’t like the others: Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar is being promoted to be in action that night at MSG alongside names from the Smackdown brand such as AJ Styles, John Cena, Alexa Bliss, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton, Beck Lynch, and many more.

Total Divas is scheduled to return on April 16th to carry on with the reality show’s stories. During the mid-season finale fans saw the wedding of Lana and Rusev, and Dean meeting Renee Young’s family, but were stopped suddenly as the impending WWE brand split loomed ever closer.

Although fans already know how these events play out in regards to the WWE storylines, it is still interesting to see how Kevin Dunn (who serves as executive producer of the E! series) and company decide to show how these events will be depicted in a reality show sense.

The most interesting thing to watch out for during the next half of season 6 will be how Paige and Alberto Del Rio deal with being split up by the draft, as they were the only couple that was directly affected by the massive roster division.
