Several members of the cast of Total Divas were on Chris Jericho’s Talk is Jericho podcast this week, discussing a variety of subjects. Among those were the Bella Twins vs. Funkadactyls being cut from WrestleMania 29 at the last minute.
“It was heartbreaking. We were in gorilla, and we started realizing the match (Undertaker vs. Cm Punk)before us was going over (time). We’re all sitting in there glued to the screen because it was an insane match. It’s such mixed emotions,” Brie Bella said.
She said the group was informed that if the match continued to go over, their segment would be scrapped which ended up happening.
She continued, “Vince literally got out of his seat and he looked and all of us and was like ‘I am so sorry guys, I didn’t think this was going to happen, you’re not going out there, we have to cut your (segment).”
