Brie Bella Talks About Daniel Bryan Being Determined To Return To The Ring And More

The Mirror recently interviewed Brie Bella who was promoting the new season of Total Divas. She talked a little bit about her career and the struggle Daniel Bryan is going through. You can check out the full interview HERE and read some quotes below.

One of the main things we’ll see you having to deal with is the career threatening injury Bryan has suffered. How is he doing?

You know he’s doing really well, he is, but it has been very hard. This injury unlike any other has just been the hardest because in the past we at least knew ‘okay it’s surgery, this long to recover’, he unfortunately had a relapse, but then we knew how long it would be to recover after the relapse. But with this one it’s so unclear and that’s the hard thing. As a wife, to put myself away from wrestling, as a wife it’s so hard to see your husband go through this. I mean, you know when doctors are starting to think, and you see his dreams come crashing down, it breaks my heart. To the point where I wish I was in his position and he was in mine because I hate seeing him like that. But my husband has so much fight in him and he tells me every day ‘I’m getting back in that ring, just you watch’ and I’m like ‘oh I bet you will’. I have his support 100% and I really think he will get back in there, I really do. He doesn’t see it any other way.

I recently spoke to Bryan about his new book. I thought it was touching that he said during his amazing night at WrestleMania 30, before the main event when he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, he was more nervous about how you would get on in your Divas match, after Brock Lesnar had just sucked the atmosphere out of the arena by ending The Undertaker’s undefeated streak.

He was! He’s so good to me, I’m the luckiest girl in the world. You know he’s been my coach. Bryan and I have been together over five years in February and everyone says ‘gosh, you’ve improved and improved’ and I’m like yeah because someone actually cared about me. He would spend all his extra time with me in the ring, he would help me out, you know I love it because he critiques me, even though it’s embarrassing to watch my matches together! My gosh, I get embarrassed because I see my mess-ups and my flaws, and he’ll be like ‘look at this and then that’ and gosh, am I not lucky to have Daniel Bryan be my personal coach? And it’s really cute I was just watching his top 10 favourite matches and he said Stephanie McMahon and I was one of them and he never told me that, so I was like ‘oh my gosh’, it was just very heartwarming. I better not gush too much!
