Things have been interesting between TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick as of late. The two former friends have been feuding, and Kendrick recently asked TJ to let him win at Hell in a Cell.
Prior to their match on Sunday Kendrick once again asked Perkins to let him win the title, and Perkins told him to go out to the ring and earn it. That’s exactly what Kendrick did, as he beat TJ and he walked out with the belt.
The end came when Brian Kendrick went for Sliced Bread No. 2, but Perkins blocked it. When Kendrick landed he faked a leg injury, and Perkins fell for it. TJ went to check on him and Kendrick knocked him down then locked in the Captain’s Hook to make him tap out.
