Brian Kendrick defeated TJ Perkins at Hell in a Cell last month to win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, and at Survivor Series, Kendrick defended the title against SmackDown’s own Kalisto. The stakes were high in this championship match because it was recently announced that if Kalisto could capture the title, the entire Cruiserweight division would move to SmackDown.

Kalisto and Brian Kendrick put on an action packed matched, but unfortunately the match didn’t have a definitive ending. Baron Corbin randomly appeared out of nowhere and interfered, causing a DQ finish. Brian Kedrick retained the title, meaning the Cruiserweight division will stat on Raw.
