Bret Hart Reveals How He Would Rate Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan is arguably the biggest professional wrestling star of all time, and he’s easily one of the most recognizable.

The Hulkster made a name for himself in the world of professional wrestling due to his look and charisma, but his in-ring skills have been criticized over the years.

During a recent episode of Confessions Of The Hitman, Bret Hart decided to rate Hulk Hogan and he explained his system. According to Hart he rates wrestlers on three categories, their look, their promo skills, and their in-ring skills.

“I’ve always had a scale that I’ve used in my mind to try and measure how to diagnose was a great [pro] wrestler would be,” Hart explained. “And it’s like if you give 10 points in each category and there’s like three categories. The first category is the look. What’s your look? You’ve got a good look, you look at Hulk Hogan, okay? Unbelievable look, 6’8″ with the 24” pythons, it’s an incredible [look]. When he walks in the room, the whole room stops. Like, you see it. He [has] got, like, legs stuck on his shoulders. His arms are as big as somebody’s legs.

Hart gave himself a 7 out of 10 on his look, a 4 out of 10 on his promo skills, and a 9 out of 10 on his in-ring skills. When it came to Hulk Hogan he game him a perfect score on looks and his promo skills, but gave him a 2 out of 10 on his in-ring skills.

“And when you add all those up, like, each category, I think of Hogan, if you give him a 10-out-of-10 on his look, you give him 10-out-of-10 on his promo, but his actual wrestling skills, you might give him a two, so you give him a 22-out-of-30 and that’s what I would gage him that.”
