The Raw 25th anniversary show featured many appearances from some of the biggest names in WWE history, but there were definitely some stars who were noticeably missing from the broadcast.
Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge didn’t appear because he was out of the country filming “Vikings” and former WWE Women’s Champion Lita says she wasn’t on the guest list for the big show.
WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart is another big name who didn’t appear on the Raw 25th anniversary episode and fans are wondering why.
PWInsider is reporting that Hart didn’t appear because he had already locked himself in for a medical examination for his hand by the time WWE contacted him about an appearance.
WWE did want Bret Hart to appear on the show, and The Hitman reportedly wanted to be there, but there was no way for him to make it work with his medical examination.
Hart has been having issues with his hand, so he decided to make that his priority. According to the report, Hart’s issues with his hand have become so bad that he can’t even draw anymore.
It’s nice to know that both sides were apparently hoping to work together for the big show, but it’s understandable why Hart couldn’t make it. Hopefully we’ll see him at Raw 30.
