For weeks WWE teased the return of Bray Wyatt leading up to the Extreme Rules premium live event, and he got a loud ovation from the fans in Philadelphia when he showed up to the Wells Fargo Center back in October. Wyatt has been back with WWE for months, but he has just been making appearances instead of wrestling matches.
There was no live Raw this week, but WWE did hold a live event at Madison Square Garden on Monday night and Bray Wyatt made his in-ring return when he faced Jinder Mahal. Bray Wyatt picked up the win when he put Jinder Mahal away with Sister Abigail.
PWInsider is reporting that Jinder Mahal was a last minute addition to the live event and it’s believed that LA Knight was originally supposed to be in the spot. It was noted that even though the match was short the crowd was happy to see Bray Wyatt.
There were no references to Uncle Howdy during Bray Wyatt’s appearance at Madison Square Garden on Monday. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
