The Fiend has quickly become one of the most popular characters in all of WWE, and most people seem to agree that he’s certainly the most terrifying character on the roster.
Apparently a rumor has been making the rounds claiming that WWE officials are talking about toning the character down to please sponsors.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that there’s nothing to the rumor. As we saw this week The Fiend appeared on Raw and attacked Jerry Lawler.
Bray Wyatt also recently commented on a report claiming WWE wants to tone down The Fiend when he responded with the following:
“Stop spreading this propaganda. And fire your informants.”
