It’s a big weekend for Bray Wyatt as the former Universal Champion is set to wrestle his first televised match since he returned to WWE last year. Since his return Bray Wyatt has introduced the world to the Uncle Howdy character and he’s also referenced his past with the Firefly Funhouse.
Bray Wyatt has gone through several different transformations throughout his WWE run and at one point he was the leader of The Wyatt Family stable. During an appearance on Out Of Character with Ryan Satin, Bray Wyatt indicated that we won’t be seeing that version of him again because he doesn’t want to be that character without the late Brodie Lee. Wyatt also put rumors of The Fiend’s return to rest when he said that The Fiend died at WrestleMania 37 in Tampa.
“For me, the Hawaiian shirt, cult Bray, he can’t be without Brodie [Lee], to me, you know? So I can’t be that without Brodie. It’s just not the same. It’s disrespectful to my best friend. It just can’t be without him but, The Fiend died that day in Tampa, Florida at WrestleMania to me, you know? And again, The Fiend is not just a goof in a mask like people think. That’s just ridiculous (Wyatt laughed). To me, it’s so much more and what you see, where all these things come from, you know, or how they sculpt me or how they molded me as a human being. But he died that day to me and it could never be again. It’s gone.”
Bray Wyatt will be in action tonight at the Royal Rumble when he faces LA Knight in the first ever Mountain Dew Pitch Black match. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
