Back in 2019 Seth Rollins found himself wrapped in a feud with The Fiend, and Rollins defended his Universal Championship against The Fiend in a Hell in a Cell match at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.
The match was heavily criticized due to the way it was booked, and many called it the worst match of the year after the contest was stopped by the referee. Seth Rollins recently shared his honest thoughts on the match during an appearance on Broken Skull Sessions and he flat out said that he wanted to strangle Vince McMahon when he got backstage.
“I put a positive spin on it now that I can look back at it a year and a half later, but at the time — I came through that curtain and I was ready to strangle Vince McMahon. I’m not kidding you. I’m not kidding you, TJ Willson was there to hold me back. I stared right into Vince’s eyes — you know where he sits in that chair over there [in Gorilla] — I look at him, he looked at me, we didn’t say a single word to each other and he walked out.”
Bray Wyatt responded to a tweet about Seth Rollins saying he wanted to strangle Vince, and he teased that the will be speaking on tthe subject when he responded with the following: “Wait until you hear my reaction.”
It’s also worth noting that Wyatt shared a photo from a six man steel cage match which saw Daniel Bryan team up with The Usos to take on The Wyatt Family.
