A few weeks ago Braun Strowman earned the right to challenge for the Raw Tag Team Titles when he won a battle royal, but General Manager Kurt Angle told him that if he wanted to challenge for the belts at WrestleMania, he would need to find a partner.
For weeks now Braun has been teasing the identity of his partner, and there have been a lot of rumors going around in regards to who it could be.
Sheamus and Cesaro made their entrance first, and they brought out a float and had a mini parade as they made their way to the ring.
When Braun made his entrance, he stopped at the top of the ramp and pushed the float off the WrestleMania stage.
JoJo introduced Sheamus and Cesaro, then she introduced Braun. Strowman grabbed the mic to introduce his tag team partner, and he said that everyone wants to know who it is, so that’s why he waited until WrestleMania.
He said it’s not one person in the locker room, it’s one of the fans and he asked who wants to be his tag team partner as the crowd went wild.
Braun then scanned the crowd and he picked a little kid then brought the kid back to the ring. He asked the kid his name and he said it was Nicholas. He told his new partner to just stand on the apron and let him do the rest.
Strowman then took on The Bar by himself, but they got the best of him, and Braun tagged in Nicholas. He faced off with Cesaro and immediately tagged Braun back in before anything happened.
Cesaro went for a springboard move, but Strowman caught him and hit the running powerslam for the win.
Braun Strowman and Nicholas are now the Raw Tag Team Champions.
