Goldberg defeated The Fiend to win the WWE Universal Championship at WWE Super ShowDown in February, and shortly after his big win it was announced that Roman Reigns would be challenging him at WrestleMania.
But Roman Reigns pulled out of the Show of Shows this year due to health concerns, and Braun Strowman was announced as The Big Dog’s replacement.
Shortly after the bell rang Goldberg hit Strowman with three spears but Stroman kicked out.
Goldberg hit another spear and called for a jackhammer. Strowman reversed it into three powerslams.
He told Goldberg to get up and went for a fourth powerslam. He hit it and won the Universal Championship.
