This week Roman Reigns kicked off Raw, and he called out Braun Strowman.
Reigns told Strowman to cash in his briefcase and challenge him, but Strowman then announced that he’ll be cashing in the briefcase at Hell in a Cell.
Braun and Roman then agreed to put their issues on hold for a little while and team up to face Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre in the main event of Raw.
During the match, Braun turned on Roman and allowed McIntyre and Ziggler to beat Reigns down.
Strowman later picked Roman up and said “I told you, I’m not finished with you yet,” before he attacked the current Universal Champion.
Braun then instructed Dolph and Drew to beat Roman down.
Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins tried to make the save, but Strowman, Ziggler and McIntyre destroyed The Shield and then stood united to end the show.
Braun will now go on to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at Hell in a Cell on September 16th, and he will also team up with Ziggler and McIntyre to face The Shield in a six man tag team match at Super Show-Down in October.
Apparently, @BraunStrowman hasn't forgotten about what #TheShield did to him last week on #Raw… pic.twitter.com/bOR3YL7aaH
