For years Braun Strowman was one of WWE’s top stars, and he even managed to defeat Goldberg to win the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36 last year, which is why many fans were surprised when WWE announced that he had been released.
Fans have been waiting patiently to see where Strowman might end up next, and when a fan asked about his in-ring return he posted an Instagram story where he teased that there’s “really cool stuff” coming for him.
“I’ve got a lot of really, really cool stuff in the works. I’m really excited to share with everyone, just gotta wait a little bit longer. It’s coming. You’ll see.”
The Monster Among Men is currently waiting out his non-compete clause. It’s unclear where he might end up, but it’s worth noting that Mark Henry has said there’s interest on both sides in regards to Strowman possibly joining AEW. Stay tuned for updates.
