Roman Reigns finally managed to defeat Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam and win the Universal Title, but his title reign has been cut short as Roman announced on Monday that he’s battling leukemia, so he’ll be taking time off.
Roman was originally set to defend the belt against Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar in a triple threat match at Crown Jewel, but WWE has announced that Strowman and Lesnar will now face off in a singles match.
Over the last few years fans have seen Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman face off many times, but Strowman recently took to Instagram to show support for Roman, and to say that behind the scenes he’s one of his closest friends.
