Braun Strowman is set to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at No Mercy on Sunday, and Strowman seems confident that he will end up walking out with the title once it’s all said and done.
Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman is a dream match for some fans, and Braun recently revealed his ultimate dream match during an interview with Sports Illustrated. Strowman is a big man, and if he had it his way he would go toe to toe with one of the most iconic giants to ever step foot in a WWE ring.
“Me vs. Andre,” said Strowman. “That would be a battle of the giants.”
It’s also worth noting that Strowman was asked which animal he would want to face if he were forced to wrestle any animal in the world.
“The silverback gorilla,” said Strowman. “Without a doubt, that has to be the baddest creature on the face of this earth next to me.”
Even though Braun will never be able to face Andre The Giant, and he may never face a gorilla, he recently tore the house down during his steel cage match with Big Show on Raw, and he said that his matches with the Big Show are something he’ll hold dear to his heart for the rest of his career.
“That was magic,” said Strowman. “What we did in those matches is something I don’t think you’ll ever see again. To see two guys who are over 6-foot-6 and over 350 pounds apiece do what we did? There are no guys like us that can do that. I’ll hold those matches near and dear to my heart for the rest of my career.
