Braun Strowman has been featured as one of the top stars in WWE for years now, and he’s been in and out of the title picture several times. The Monster Among Men finally managed to add a Universal Title reign to his resume last year, and many fans were surprised when WWE announced earlier today that he had been released.
Braun Strowman reacted to his release when he thanked the fans and posted the following on Twitter:

Braun Strowman first joined WWE in 2013, and he signed a new deal with the company in 2019. The deal was reportedly worth $1 million dollars per year, and would have seen him stay with the company through 2023.
